This is a SCAM…

This is a scam I arranged as a Landlord to have a CP12 Gas Safety Check done for my tenant in Medway however they contacted me to say they do not work outside of the M25. I requested a refund on the 4th December 24 and have rung 4 times as the refund has not been put back into my account each time I ring I am told it will be refunded but I am still waiting and will be reporting them to Trading Standards. I would avoid them as they are not honest.

Stay away – Refund still due (a month now)

Despite I booked the appointment (date & time) and paid online, they called me to inform me that they don’t work on weekends. I am still waiting for the refund that should have been issued one month ago. Each time I call them the answer is the same - you will receive the refund next Friday. It never happens. Stay away. I will report it to the council. Despite they have answered that they are looking at it it is already 2 months and still no refund has happened. Stay away it is a SCAM

Conducting a Residential Fire Risk Assessment in London: Ensuring Safety and Compliance

fire safety certificate

In the bustling urban landscape of London, ensuring the safety of residential properties is paramount. Landlords and property owners have a legal and moral obligation to safeguard their tenants from potential fire hazards. A residential fire risk assessment in London is a crucial step towards achieving this goal, providing a comprehensive evaluation of the property’s fire safety measures and potential risks.

A residential fire risk assessment in London involves a systematic inspection carried out by certified fire safety professionals. These experts assess various factors, including the property layout, fire escape routes, electrical systems, heating appliances, and potential ignition sources. The assessment aims to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively.

One of the key aspects of a residential fire risk assessment in London is compliance with local regulations. London has specific fire safety standards and guidelines that residential properties must adhere to, and a thorough assessment ensures that your property meets these requirements. By conducting regular assessments, landlords demonstrate their commitment to compliance and, more importantly, the safety and well-being of their residents.

During the assessment, fire safety professionals provide tailored recommendations to address identified risks. These recommendations may include installing smoke detectors, fire-resistant doors, or fire extinguishers, as well as creating clear evacuation plans and conducting tenant fire safety education sessions. Implementing these measures enhances the overall safety of the property, reducing the likelihood of fire incidents and ensuring swift and safe evacuation in case of emergencies.

Additionally, a residential fire risk assessment in London adds value to your property. Prospective tenants are increasingly aware of the importance of fire safety, and properties with documented, up-to-date fire risk assessments instill confidence. It becomes a selling point, assuring tenants that their safety is a top priority.

In conclusion, a residential fire risk assessment in London is not just a legal requirement but a fundamental step towards creating a secure living environment. By investing in these assessments, landlords uphold their responsibilities, foster a sense of security among tenants, and contribute to building a safer residential landscape in this vibrant metropolis.
